Donald Trump has made his way into people’s lives. Let it be by real estate, businesses, among others, or, most commonly, entertainments. Miss Universe, one of the most important beauty pageants in the world, and which everyone talks about year round, recently crowned the new beauty of the Universe this month of August at the Atlantis Hotel, located in the Bahamas.
The annual contest, which is run by the Miss Universe Organization, started in 1952, when it was founded by Pacific Mills. After over half a century and being owned by others, Donald Trump acquired it in 1996, and has been the owner since then.
On January 2004, the first episode of what would become a popular TV program all over the world was seen by many. The Apprentice, hosted by Donald Trump, became a dream for many, and the best entertainment for others.
The reality show was a job interview that would last several weeks. The contestants were divided in two groups, each assigned a business-related task to compete every week, where one person from the group is assigned project manager. This person becomes responsible for the team’s management and performance during the task. The winner team is rewarded with amazing prizes. The losing team is condemned to face Mr. Trump and two advisors to discuss their performance. At the end of the evening, one person from the losing team is fired. Donald Trump hires the winner for a period of one year. After all, going through the reality may be worth it at the end. Like these two, Trump also owns entertainments such as skating rinks, restaurants, model management, productions, and others.
